Hyderabad has emerged as an attractive destination for global and Indian companies to set up operations.

NASSCOM has presence in Hyderabad since 2002. The focus for NASSCOM at Hyderabad is to engage effectively with the members, build local activities, broad base national initiatives at a regional level, work with policy makers and academia and promote development of tier II cities.

Regional Council:Andhra Pradesh

Objectives

  • Member Connect: It organises activities to reach out to members, more effectively service their needs, and expand membership.Development of small companies is a key priority.
  • Government Relationships/Partnerships: The Council works with the government to remove barriers and facilitate growth of the IT and BPO industry in Andhra Pradesh
  • Competitive Growth: It plans and executes strategies positioning Hyderabad as a Technology hub and Andhra Pradesh as a desirable IT-BPO destination
  • Diversity and Inclusivity: It is stepping up member participation on generational, gender, PWD and cultural issues
  • Education Initiatives: The Council promotes learning of relevant skills, Urban-rural/socio-economic inclusion and helps bridge the employability gap through GBFS, NAC, NAC Tech
