This is to keep you posted about the extremely exciting and insightful marketing sessions that we have been organizing over the last three years, under the aegis of NASSCOM EMERGE Forum and the benefits these are bringing to some of our members. NASSCOM Friday’s 2.0 sessions are held on Second Fridays at the NASSCOM office. The fact that 2.0 is the flavor of the year and the hottest buzzword doing the rounds of the industry today. As far as the eye can see, 2.0 is the name of the game. It represents not just the “next version,” of things, but also symbolizes maturation, growth, repositioning, re-orientation and what have you. In keeping with current trends and taking into account the fact that the marketing sessions are held on the second Friday of every month, we have decided on NASSCOM Friday’s 2.0 as the name for the platform that has gained considerable popularity over the past 34 months.
Our two-fold objective then is to get people (especially representing emerging companies) together on a particular day, and provide them with the opportunity to network, and air their concerns about the issues and challenges they were facing. The idea was also to get people from emerging companies to share their Best Practices so that others could learn from them without having to reinvent the wheel, and possibly implement them within their own domains. Finally, of course, the goal was to get in an expert from the industry to provide fresh perspectives and insights on marketing.
