Basic Functions/ Job Responsibility: 

Content:

  • Develop National Occupational Standards, identifying skill and competency standards. Special reference to Information Security in all sub sectors (BPM, ERD, SPD and Its)
  • Instructional Designer for Facilitator Guide and Participant Handbook
  • E-content self-instructions and lead
  • Identify and develop MOOCS story Boarding bridge programs
  • E-governance, E-commerce, & SMAC occupations etc. Help develop assessment criteria for the same
  • Highly skilled in developing e-content and using technology for learning including social networking, and M-learning streams

Assessment:

  • Periodic reviews of progress achieved and deliverables submitted by the outsourced partner to assess progress and make course corrections
  • Competency Mapping/Assessment & Development Centres
  • Balanced Score Card Training and Implementation
  • Document learnings and create improvement plans for current and future programs
  • Assessment linear and adaptive in the online format

Standard:

  • A very strong ‘Operations’ person to scale awareness and implementation of SSC outcomes in this area
  • Help crystallize the objectives and desired outcomes of the initiatives/projects to develop
  • Curricula in the Outcomes Based Format
  • Provide inputs to the deployment teams as and when roll out starts in the states
  • Provide inputs based on prior experience in the domain and requirements of the Sector Skills Council (SSC) – bring in deep expertise and experience into play; help benchmark with appropriate standards
  • Develop engineering and technology, BPM, ERD, SPD, ITS, occupations across select verticals related courseware for both faculty and students in the Outcomes Based format to increase their employability and make stakeholders industry ready
  • Guide and advise the outsourced teams on a regular basis
  • Bring in a research and analysis mindset – analysis of trends in the skills space (national and global), current challenges, new developments etc.
  • Help and integrate Qualification Packs /QPs into existing educational programs. Guide and advise the outsourced team on a regular basis.
  • Help coordinate with various stakeholders within the SSC and with other experts

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, Experience: 

Content:

  • Experience in facilitating /developing of e-content & m-content integrated assessments
  • Use of a online portal for the development for enhanced learning
  • Aware of learner centric methodologies in an outcomes based format
  • Experience in standardizing content in the outcomes based format, developing competency based standards
  • Experience is designing e-learning platforms
  • Experience in m-learning
  • Experienced in curriculum redesign, at multiple levels across the pipeline formal non formal, K-12, UG, PG, Polytechnic, Vocational

Assessment:

  • Science/Engineering Masters, PhD - (Psychometrical, Assessment and Evaluation Methodologies online &offline) preferred
  • Highly experienced in developing assessments and test designs and competency assessments in multiple modes
  • Designed and developed question banks for IT-ITeS employment assessment or the like
  • Understands academic assessment and evaluation across all levels and types of assessments online, offline, interview designs, assessment analytics

Standard:

  • Should be able to develop Job Profiles related Occupational standards
  • Experienced in developing skill and competency standards
  • Experience in developing occupational maps, functional analysis and occupational competency standards
  • Understand and be able to design ‘Occupational Competency Standards’ for generic employment skills and domain specific skills in Tech and Non- Tech areas for employability
  • Publications in this space of curriculum design and learner centric pedagogy and assessments (preferred)
  • Experience in using technology as a tool and an enabler in the teaching – learning space
  • Experience in appropriating social networking for teaching and learning
  • Have experience in developing a paradigm shift in teaching, learning and assessment towards increased employability
  • Good instructional design capability and understand the technology requirement for SCORM compliant e-content development and the platforms for the same
  • Have experience in heading operationalizing, design and developing e-content of IT-ITeS courses in the academic ecosystem
  • Very strong communication skills, critical thinking and analytical ability, learning ability, interpersonal skills, dealing with ambiguity, team work, building relationships, coping ability
