Job Details/ Criteria

Basic Functions/ Job Responsibility: 

CoE-IoT, a deep tech IoT startups accelerator at it’s core, is an initiative to build an IoT ecosystem in India that connects various entities such as startups, enterprises, venture capitalists, government, and academia.

CoE-IoT enable startups in areas of IoT, Big Data, AR/VR, AI, and Robotics to reach their maximum potential.

Business Development

  • Conduct research to identify the potential partners
  • Create the pitching deck listing down services provided by CoE that matches with what potential partner would expect
  • Locate the suitable contact point at the decision maker level and pitch the capabilities of CoE. Continue engagement till signing of contract agreement and invoice payment
  • Engage with existing partners and get the inputs in terms of the expectations they have from CoE. Provide recommendations to CoE team about the real expectations from partners
  • Help the CoE team in refining the directional approach that helps in better meeting expectations from partners – existing and potential
  • Help CoE team with improvement of website and digital marketing strategy
  • Help CoE team in better articulating the value proposition that CoE provides and how our partners can benefit
  • Help in defining the matrices that CoE should maintain in terms of what value add we are actually providing to our partners. Perform periodic assessment as to whether we are on track or need to shift
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, Experience: 
  • Engineering degree from reputable institute, MBA would be added advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite, excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 8+ years of sales experience, with hands-on knowledge and experience with online and offline sale. Sales experience of technology products will be required. Experience in selling in manufacturing companies will be added advantage.
  • End-to-end sales experience, from lead generation to contract closure including cold calling and getting invoice payments
  • Should be ready to travel as and when required in the line of job
  • Positive attitude, maturity to interact with top leadership are necessary attributes
