As you are all aware, we made foray into Japan two years back with our participation at CEATEC event in Tokyo and last year we signed an agreement with IOT Acceleration Consortium (ITAC) of Japan to promote the theme of Co-developing for the Global markets leveraging our respective strengths in hardware and software. In 2017 we took a delegation from India in February and followed it up again with showcasing the innovative & work being done in India at the India Pavilion at CEATEC 2017. These visits have had a bearing on the Japanese industries and some case studies have started to emerge and there are more Japanese companies that are looking at the prospects of partnering with Indian companies especially in the new-age technologies viz. IOT, Big Data, Analytics, Engineering and R&D in the verticals such as Automotive, Telecom, Energy, Consumer Electronics and Manufacturing etc. 

Committed to this resolve for creating opportunities mutually beneficially for companies from both sides to meet and discuss business interest - NASSCOM is taking a delegation of Indian companies having offerings for the chosen verticals leveraging Digital technologies and ER&D capabilities.

As a part of our ER&D and Global Trade Development Initiative, NASSCOM is organizing a delegation to Japan from 8^th - 15^th June, 2018. The broad agenda of the delegation is to create awareness among the local Japanese companies about India and the Engineering, Design and Development capabilities from India. 

NASSCOM delegation would visit Fukuoka, Hiroshima and Yokohama with an objective to encourage more Japanese companies to leverage India and Indian IT capabilities.
