We are glad inform you that, NASSCOM is organizing a delegation to Guadalajara, Mexico from 14 – 16 June 2017. The delegation is a constituent of the ongoing initiative by NASSCOM and the trade bodies in the Latin American region to increase business relations through partnership and alliances. We would especially urge members which have offices in the region to participate and help make a big impact /presence at the event.

Business leaders in the Latam region are increasingly counting on digital technologies to remain competitive. More than a quarter of top corporate firms in Latin America are putting digital transformation at the center of their strategies in 2017, according to a survey from technology research firm IDC. For these corporates, digital transformation presents them with tools to redefine their sales and customer support as well as the production processes. The economic prosperity in the Latin America region and the adoption of technology by the countries in the region is slowly but surely creating opportunity for Indian IT industry. The region is on a transformational path with greater spending on emerging technology areas such as Cloud, Big Data, Mobile, Cognitive Computing, and Internet of Things (IoT). According to IDC, the IT Market in Latin America was at $124 billion in 2012 and is forecasted to grow to $152 billion by 2018.

The NASSCOM delegation will be participating at the Digital Economy Show 2017, Guadalajara, Mexico from 14 - 16^th June, 2017. The key objective of the delegation is to provide the Indian companies an exposure to the Latin American ICT environment and provide networking opportunities with the local companies and agencies and explore business opportunities. It would also be an effort to build awareness and to promote the India’s IT strengths in the region. The delegation activities would entail the following:-

• Focused meetings - like with the Minister and also with Inter Developmental Bank etc.
• Participation at the Expo under the aegis of India Pavilion will also help make a bigger impact
• We will also organize for meetings with other country delegations at the Expo
