- Any firm, society, company or division thereof registered or incorporated in India, and any Liaison office or Branch office of a foreign company registered in India are eligible for NASSCOM membership. For regular membership, the company must be in the business of IT-BPO
- No, individuals are not eligible for NASSCOM membership.
Membership for NASSCOM is on a slab system and is related to the turnover of the organisation from IT-BPO revenues in India. There are two categories of membership:
- Fill the Membership Application Form
- Attach all the necessary documents mentioned in the Checklist
- Enclose the necessary remittances, which include:
- one-time admission fees of Rs. 5,000
- Annual membership subscription (see Subscription Fee chart – link to fee table), and
- Mailers and Newsletter charges of Rs .4,800- per annum
- Service Tax on the above components at 10.3%
The subscription fee is based on the annual revenue of the organisation, click here to view the details. The membership is payable on yearly basis, and the subscription needs to be paid in advance. The subscription can be paid in the form of Demand Draft / cheque in favour of “NASSCOM”.
Yes. Reference letter can be requested from any existing NASSCOM member. The letter has to be on the referring company’s letterhead introducing your company as a member to NASSCOM.
In case your company requires specific support for reference, please contact a NASSCOM representative in your region.
If the subsidiary company is registered as a separate entity under the Indian Companies Act, 1956, in that case the company would have to register as a member.
It takes 10-15 working days to process the membership. There is a due diligence process, where members from the NASSCOM secretariat can organise a personal visit or do a telephonic discussion.Membership is not accepted in case documents are found to be incomplete.
