NASSCOM, a not-for-profit industry association, is the apex body for the 154 billion dollar Indian IT BPM industry.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, referred to NASSCOM as a “revolution”, beyond its time-tested role as an association.

Established in 1988, NASSCOM has relentlessly catalysed the Indian IT BPM industry in its journey towards building an innovation led growth sector, with transformative business models, expanding its value proposition and becoming a partner of choice for global businesses.

    Delegation to ConnecTechAsia 2018

    NASSCOM SME Connect Forum and NASSCOM GTD is glad to organise a delegation to ConnecTechAsia 2018, Singapore.     CBEC clarification on place of provision of service rules to development of software

    In November 2017, instances of service tax refunds being rejected in Mumbai, on the pretext that data, emails etc were received in India was brought to the notice of NASSCOM. We had represented the matter to the CBEC and Revenue department and were given an assurance that the matter is being looked into. A press release reassuring that no hasty decisions will be taken was also released by the Ministry of Finance.

    techUK and NASSCOM sign Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate on tech skills and development

    techUK and NASSCOM launched the UK-India Tech Alliance and agreed on a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which will see the technology sectors from the UK and India further strengthen their relationship. The partnership between techUK and NASSCOM will support the flourishing IT sectors in both India and UK by developing stronger links, networks and joint platforms, helping enhance the skills of the technology workforce in both countries.

  • CIO Connect, Ahmedabad - NASSCOM Domestic Council

    As part of the Domestic Council’s Charter to enhance engagement with the CIO Community – the prime drivers of IT adoption in any organisation, the 2nd NASSCOM CIO Connect event was held in Ahmedabad on 6th April 2018 where CIOs from Chemical, Pharma and Banking industry provided key insights and thought leadership on the way ahead for IT in their respective segments.

  • Design4India Design Studio Launch @ WeWork Kormangala

    Design4India with Facebook, as Lead Partners, and WeWork, as Workspace Partner, unveiled the “Design4India Studio” on the 12th of March 2018 at WeWork’s Kormangala facility in Bengaluru. The Design4India Design Studio is a dedicated “Open to all” space for web, mobile, augmented reality and virtual reality platforms for start-ups and designers.
    The studio will provide startups & product companies’ access to user experience design process, interaction design, usability testing and augmented reality and virtual reality toolkits.

    Women Wizards Rule Tech (W2RT)

    NASSCOM Diversity and Inclusion initiative has launched a new program to upskill women in core technology areas. The program will leverage the NASSCOM Futureskills initiative and blend this with focused learning programs, webinars, mentoring and peer learning.

  • NASSCOM, Russoft tie up to provide IT solutions in India, Africa & West Asia

    NASSCOM signed an MOU with Russoft, Russia's leading association for Software industry to promote mutual cooperation particularly in the field of Emerging Technologies.

    Both sides agreed to build connects and facilitate exchange of best practices among member organizations to explore joint opportunities. Other areas of cooperation include skills development and capacity building, raising awareness ICT and Business landscape on both sides, Innovation & Startup ecosystem, participation in Government businesses,
