Rishad Premji appointed as Chairman of NASSCOM for 2018-19

New Delhi, April 10th, 2018: NASSCOM today announced the appointment of Mr. Rishad Premji, Chief Strategy Officer and Member of the Board, Wipro Ltd., as its Chairman for 2018-19. Rishad has been a member of NASSCOM’s Executive Council and was the Vice Chairman for 2017-18. He succeeds Mr. Raman Roy, Chairman and Managing Director, Quatrro Global Services, who served as Chairman of NASSCOM for the year 2017-18.

Design4India Design Studio Launch @ WeWork Kormangala

Design4India with Facebook, as Lead Partners, and WeWork, as Workspace Partner, unveiled the “Design4India Studio” on the 12th of March 2018 at WeWork’s Kormangala facility in Bengaluru. The Design4India Design Studio is a dedicated “Open to all” space for web, mobile, augmented reality and virtual reality platforms for start-ups and designers.
The studio will provide startups & product companies’ access to user experience design process, interaction design, usability testing and augmented reality and virtual reality toolkits.

Kotak Mahindra Bank, NASSCOM Announce Winners of its Maiden Payment Co-creation Programme

Kotak Mahindra Bank (Kotak) and NASSCOM announced the winners of its maiden payment co-creation programme for start-ups and fintechs. Of the 133 entries received for the programme, 12 fintechs were shortlisted after a rigorous evaluation process. The jury* has finalised 6 winners – Automaxis, Dairy Plus, Nukkad Shops Technology, MyCarIQ, Highway Delight and FTL Technology.
