NASSCOM’s Emerge 50 Awards programme, an annual initiative that picks and showcases the Top 50 high potential emerging companies in India, has through a special jury identified the ‘Top 10 hottest’ organisations within this category.
NASSCOM Emerge 10 Awards are all about recognising IT products and services organisations that are re-defining the benchmarks of excellence for the technology industry.
Participants in the programme nominate themselves under three categories, namely Emerge Growth, Emerge Innovation and Emerge Start-up. The Top 10 awards are for organisations that have displayed innovation, consistent growth and expansion and are less than three years old.
The awards offer organisations a platform for local, national and industry-wide recognition and media visibility. The fact that these organisations are spotlighted at a separate function at NASSCOM’s Product Conclave and can demonstrate their offerings to the CIO community at the show are some of the other key benefits. These organisations also get to be profiled on NASSCOM’s website and other publications, as well as the Emerge 50 Report – a listing that is distributed to over 1,000 professionals from the IT sector at the Product Conclave. The start-ups additionally get mentored by industry leaders under NASSCOM’s ‘Mentorship Programme’ and get speaking opportunities at important NASSCOM Conclaves to share their success stories.
More than 100 organisations participated in the initiative this year. We bring you brief profiles of the 10 finalist Emerge 50 companies which have caught the eye of the judges for their out-of-the-box offerings and impressive performance in 2011-12.
