NASSCOM-Deloitte Release Study on Enterprise Mobility
NASSCO M along with Deloitte, a global financial advisory firm have co-developed a report on ‘Enterprise Mobility: Building Tomorrow’s Enterprise’. The report, based on intensive research, has studied the value chain of Enterprise Mobility (EM) and its implications for the Indian IT industry. According to the study, the global EM opportunity will be around USD 140 billion by 2020, with APAC , remaining the fastest growing market in this sector.
The study forecasts the following:
Shift from the traditional fixed price or subscriptionbased models towards commercial models based on hybrid usage, output linked and pay-per-use models
Service providers will continue to introduce innovative commercial models and look to convert capex-based models into opex-based models
Consumerisation of IT, led by the abundance of smart devices at affordable prices, will continue to drive the EM market
Employees willing to use their own personal devices in their work-life will continue to drive the BYOD (Bring-your-own-device) phenomenon
Organisations will align user mobility expectations, IT capabilities and needs of the business by adopting EM solutions
The report also presents numerous global and Indian case studies and user case examples where the EM has already enabled organisations to make a mark in the industry, through unmatched service delivery and system efficiencies.
