Organizational Growth Through Personal Branding

Overview

In a knowledge economy, the true worth of a corporation is the synergy of expertise of the talent pool it owns. An organizational brand is, therefore, built brick by brick through contributions by prominent employees who are strong brand themselves. Success in the next wave of offshoring could well depend on achieving 'knowledge arbitrage', a significant shift from labour arbitrage which has largely been the fulcrum.

So how does an organization enhance it's brand through branding it's key contributors? What are the thought leadership programs that can be run to generate and communicate intellectual property? How does it inspire the employees to transform the texture of the organization into a crucible of knowledge exchange? How are some of the best techie brands like Steve Jobs built over the years? Are there low cost, high impact methods available to build a strong personal brand? How does one "CONNECT"? An IT professional, for example, has atleast 3 opportunities to document his work in the form of white papers every year, but less than 1% of the them do it. Answers to these questions will help learn lessons which will help your organization and you to build robust brands.
