Thiagarajan Rajagopalan
Executive Director,
IPMA (India Product Management Association)

Thiagarajan Rajagopalan is a product management veteran in IT and Telecom domains with over 22 years of experience in companies ranging from start-ups to Fortune 100 companies. He is currently an advisor to technology start-ups in Bangalore. He is also the Executive Director of IPMA (India Product Management Association), and a visiting professor of management in Alliance University.

Thiagarajan has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from BITS, Pilani, and a Masters degree in Computer Science from Kansas State University, USA. He started his career as a software engineer, and progressed to become a manager and director of engineering in a few software companies in Silicon Valley. Then, he switched tracks and became a product management and product marketing professional. He was a senior product manager at AltiGen Communications and Insignia Solutions and Motorola in the Bay Area. After moving to India, he became the head of product marketing and business development at Motorola India and later in Qualcomm India. Most recently, he was the Vice President of Product Management at Mobileum. He has also given seminars on various topics to diverse audiences ranging from industry veterans to analysts to students.
