Building a coaching culture in organizations

Coaching has become a vital tool within organizations for overall employee development in recent years. More and more, organizations are realizing the benefits of coaching and recognize the value in building a coaching culture that offers employees at all levels the opportunity to grow their skills, enhance their value and reach their professional goals.

Research shows that high-performing organizations have stronger change management capabilities and coaching is one of the most helpful ways to develop these capabilities. Using coaching to lead an agile culture correlates with greater confidence in employees’ capabilities in planning and executing change. Importantly, the results confirm that organizations with strong coaching cultures are more likely to have better talent and business outcomes, and success at large-scale strategic change. Although most organizations recognize the advantages of a strong coaching culture, many struggle with establishing and implementing one and, in turn, are challenged with articulating the importance of coaching and its value to the organization.

NASSCOM, as part of the HR initiative,is conducting a session with the theme “How to build a coaching culture in organizations" by “Malveika Joshi”. The session will address how companies who have embraced coaching as a habit have been successful in building this culture in their organizations.
