Change is inevitable. The father of the nation, man known for his simplicity once said “Be the change you want to see in the world”, how very apt and true. Transformation is not just about technology, it’s about you. It’s an evolution; it’s a revolution and many disruptions that accelerate it in unforeseen and unprecedented ways. Let alone thinking of thriving in this transformation, only way to succeed or even survive is to fully embrace it. All this while India missed the previous revolutions the first being Mechanization (water power, steam power), second being Mass Production (Assembly Line, Electricity), third being Computer and Automation. Now we are in the fourth Industrial Revolution or Industry 4.0. This is the name for the current trend of automation and data exchange in manufacturing technologies, which includes Cyber Physical Systems, IoT (Internet of Things) and all forms of computing including Cloud, Fog, Edge, Mist and Cognitive Computing. Since it’s on a time scale, revolution doesnot come back to the same point, it’s always ever changing and progressive. This is not about transformation of technology; it’s about your transformation, technology being only the key enabler.
