Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, referred to NASSCOM as a “revolution”, beyond its time-tested role as an association.

    NASSCOM DeepTech program was initiated to promote the creation and evolution of world class DeepTech start-ups.  The DeepTech club involves start-ups working on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), AR/VR, Robotics, NLP and similar technologies. The DeepTech companies, part of the club will be recognized, nurtured and promoted by NASSCOM via various programs, platforms and events. The Club has three segments: Lab to Market, Pre-Revenue & Post-Revenue.

    The ideas for tomorrow – the Dubai way – are born in DIC (Dubai Internet City), a leading tech hub.     An update on recent Advance Ruling on GST

    A recent ruling of the Maharashtra Advance Ruling Authority has held that back office support services do not qualify as “export of services” as they are in the nature of “intermediary services”. It is concerning and We as NASSCOM seek to engage with the GST Council and CBIC to highlight the impact of this ruling including some of the key aspects that have been ignored in the ruling.

    In this year so far (calendar year 2018), 1200 startups have been added, 8 new Unicorns recognized so far, and funding doubled over the previous year. Adding to this increasing list is the admirable 40% y-o-y growth rate of Advanced Tech Startups which is veritably leading the digital transformational journey. AI/ ML/ IoT, AR/VR, Blockchain & 3D Printing have strongly emerged particularly in the last 1 – 2 years.
