Overview
Women wizards rule tech (W2RT) is a unique program

launched under the NASSCOM D&I Initiative in 2018, designed exclusively for Women professionals in Core Technologies, from IT-BPM, Product and Engineering R&D Firms, with the aim to nurture women leaders for tomorrow.

The W2RT program is a year-long program To "enable women technologists build awareness about tech capabilities/ skills in emerging technologies of their choice."

W2RT events and resources

will provide exposure to multiple modalities of learning, as well as multiple opportunities to connect and network with women in similar roles across organizations.

The W2RT User should accomplish a minimum of 10 hours of awareness building and / or learning through W2RT Program Components.

Certification on completion of Min. 10 hrs. (Through a combination of Min 2 or more components) =

  • c (Min.1 Hr) and/or
  • d (Min.1 Hr) and/or
  • e or F (Min 1 H)

Gurukul & Role Model
To become a GURUKUL & ROLE MODEL
  • 15+ years of industry experience in technology
  • Willing to contribute 3 hours per session, for 4 sessions across 4 quarters in a year (total 12hours).
  • Good people skills
  • Gender and Vertical Agnostic

What’s in it for Organisation, Gurus and Role Model

  • The Guru will be given free access to the FutureSkills Platform
  • The Guru will be given visibility as a part of the Gurukul sessions
  • Member Organizations nominating the Gurus will gain visibility and branding on the W2RT Micro Site.
  • During the D&I Annual Summit, the member organizations who have contributed to the Gurukuls will be acknowledged.

In addition to this, member organisations nominating GURU can host the Gurukul session within their premises.

 

Role Model:
  • The Role Model will be given visibility as a part of the Role Model sessions
  • Member Organizations nominating the Role Models will gain visibility and branding in the communication mailers.
  • During the D&I Annual Summit, the member organizations who have contributed to the Role Models will be acknowledged.
Tech Mentor
To become a TECH MENTOR
  • 8 - 10+ years of industry experience in technology
  • Willing to contribute 1 hours per month, 12hrs of mentoring across 12 months in a year (total 12hours).
  • Good people skills
  • Gender and Vertical Agnostic

What’s in it for Organisation & Mentors:

  • The mentor will be given NASSCOM Industry Mentor Program Certificate, upon completing the NASSCOM Mentor workshop and completing 12 hours of successful mentoring over a 1 year.
  • The Mentors, should they choose, will receive access to the FutureSkills Platform at an advantage price of 500.
  • Member Organizations nominating the Mentors will gain visibility and branding on the W2RT Micro Site.
  • During the D&I Annual Summit, the member organizations who have contributed to the Mentors will be acknowledged and the certificates will be distributed.
Experiential Learning
To become a EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING
  • Provide your Labs/innovation centres towards the end of the program for 9 identified technologies
  • Be the host and conduct the hands on experience session for W2RT participants
  • Member Organisations providing the Innovation Centres/Labs will gain visibility on the W2RT microsite.
