NASSCOM INDUSTRY MENTORING PROGRAMME (NIMP) to provide tech mentors for W2RT.
ONE MENTOR WILL BE ASSIGNED TO 3 MENTEES on a virtual platform. Mentoring sessions will be conducted in groups between one mentor and three mentees.
Mentors will undergo a tech mentoring workshop before getting on-boarded to the mentoring platform. Mentors and mentees will be pre-assigned.
Mentees will have ACCESS TO UP TO 12 HOURS IN A YEAR WITH THEIR MENTOR.
Mentoring schedules will be decided mutually between the mentors and his mentees. Mentors will guide mentees to complete the learning journeys they create for themselves.
Role Model Sessions
ROLE MODELS ARE ICONIC WOMEN LEADERS who will share their journey and experience. This will be held alongside Gurukul sessions.
These will be FOUR SESSIONS A YEAR IN ALL 5 CITIES, namely- Pune, NCR, Chennai, Hyderabad and Bangalore.
Role Model Sessions will either be conducted on the same day as Gurukul Sessions or conducted separately for a big group of W2RT Members.
Quarterly calendars will be published for all the events on W2RT Micro-org on the FutureSkills Portal.
Gurukul Sessions are DEEP DIVE SESSIONS WITH SUBJECT MATTER EXPERTS to provide a classroom learning experience to W2RT members.
Experts in the EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES covered under W2RT will hold these sessions. W2RT members will be assigned Gurukul sessions based on the primary choice of technology. The cohort of minimum size of 25 will be formed and in case the cohort of 25 cannot be formed, the session in those technologies will not be held.
There will be FOUR GURUKUL SESSIONS in a yearlong program and each session will be for 3 hours.
These sessions will be HOSTED AT NASSCOM MEMBER PREMISES in Bangalore, Pune, NCR, Hyderabad and Chennai.
Information and Schedule pertaining to the Gurukul Sessions will be posted on the W2RT micro-org of the FutureSkills Portal, an online group on FutureSkills created especially for the W2RT community.
FutureSkills is an INDUSTRY-DRIVEN LEARNING ECOSYSTEM with 1000s of hours of free micro-learning content on EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES and 66 JOB ROLES. It will enable you to explore and discover what these technologies are, the job roles in these technologies and the skills required to do these jobs through a host of informal learning content. Formal courses are also available on the marketplace on FutureSkills, but at an additional cost and are totally optional.

Towards the end of the W2RT program, our endeavor is to PROVIDE SIMULATED LEARNING EXPERIENCE to all W2RT Members to see applications of the new tech in action and provide them exposure of latest tools and techniques.
Members will be provided this LEARNING EXPERIENCE IN INNOVATION CENTERS OF NASSCOM MEMBER COMPANIES (subject to availability).
The W2RT program does not offer any assessments or diagnostics, but Learners who wish to test themselves WILL HAVE ACCESS TO PAID ASSESSMENTS PROVIDED BY LEADING ASSESSMENT COMPANIES on the FutureSkills portal.
