Basic Functions/ Job Responsibility:
We are searching for an enthusiastic and target driven Tele-caller/Business Development Associate to join the nasscom Konnect team. Nasscom Konnect drives thought leaders through various annual events across India and focus on real time learning through use-cases for the industry. Our key priorities are to strengthen “Think Digital, Think India” and “Inevitable India” narrative. You will play a vital role in driving paid delegate registrations for our upcoming conferences by connecting with business professionals and building valuable business relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound calls to business professionals to introduce them to nasscom conferences and their benefits.
- Effectively communicate conference details, highlighting the value proposition for each attendee.
- Secure registrations for conferences by converting leads into paying attendees.
- Conduct thorough research to identify and develop a comprehensive database of professionals relevant to our conferences.
- Maintain and update existing attendee databases in MS Excel.
- Track and report on call metrics and registration progress against set targets.
- Collaborate with the wider team to ensure successful conference promotion and execution.
- Travel for the events/conferences, whenever necessary.
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, Experience:
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2–3-year experience in tele-calling/business development or a related field.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport over the phone.
- Strong understanding of lead generation and conversion techniques.
- Proficiency in using MS Excel software and databases.
- Excellent research and data analysis skills.
- Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
- Time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong work ethic with a positive and results-oriented attitude.
