Best Practices On Industrial Relations
Best Practices On Industrial Relations
Learnings From Manufacturing For The Information & Technology Industry
Healthy human relations is key to the success of industries and economies. The manufacturing industry has for long handled industrial and labor relations, and during various growth phases, has come up with innovative approaches, practices and processes for industrial harmony that enhances productivity, driving higher revenues and profits. The Information and Communications Technology (ICT) sector which has long focused on technology products, solutions and services is now expanding its services canvas to include business process management, IoT and related digital solutions, thereby starting to perform many of the core activities that were hitherto performed by the manufacturing sector. While the ICT industry has set global benchmarks in Human Resources Management (HRM) by employing high-quality technology and business professionals, it is still evolving its industrial and labour practices both in the technology and business process areas.
The Objective of this Seminar is to help the HR, legal, operations and business professionals from the ICT sector as well as students from HRD to learn best practices from the manufacturing sector. MCCI and NASSCOM believe that cross-pollination of ideas across sectors will make our economy even more robust and enable better management of India's precious asset, its human resources
