India has emerged as one of the prominent trade partner for ASEAN countries and all the countries have shown complementarities for business to expand and grow. IT and Telecom form the backbone for the growth of any country and ASEAN countries are the fastest growing markets worldwide in ICT adoption and communication technology.

To reiterate the relationship and commitment between India and ASEAN countries, Government of India through NASSCOM and TEPC had successfully organized the 1^st edition of India ASEAN ICT Expo in Jakarta, Indonesia on 6^th - 7^th December, 2017. Encouraged by the response received in the 1^st event, the Government of India through NASSCOM and TEPC is proposing to organize the 2^nd edition of this event, viz. India ASEAN ICT Expo - 2018, on 27^th - 28^th September, 2018 in Melia Hotel, Hanoi, Vietnam. NASSCOM is jointly organizing this India ASEAN ICT Expo along with Vietnam ICT Investment Forum organized by Ministry of Information & Communication, Vietnam, this year, creating a bigger platform in support of ICT industries of both the countries. It may be noted that the last year event of the Vietnam Government had attracted more than 500 delegates including senior officials of all licensed service providers for conference session. The event is organized with the support of Department of Telecommunications & Department of Commerce. The event is expected to bring together over 50+ ICT companies from India and many more from Vietnam and other ASEAN countries.

With a view to extend more areas of cooperation including Digital Connectivity and ICT sectors and further strengthen trade and business relations between India, Vietnam and other ASEAN countries, this event is organised. The event focus will have additional focus on CLMV countries and we are extending invitations to the Ministers/ Governments from all CLMV countries.
