Recent Amendments in GST Act and Implications

Goods and Services Tax - described as "Good and Simple Tax" is beneficial to the country's growth but appears to be far from simple. World Bank has rated India's GST law as the most complex Indirect tax law in the world despite our government's best efforts to keep it simple. Contrastingly, it is expected that implementation of GST would further India's rank in "Ease of doing Business".
