With the proliferation of digital technologies, Cyber Security has emerged as a top priority for every enterprise and government. Mr. Narendra Modi, Honourable Prime Minister of India has called to make India a global leader in cyber security. Armed with the right policies, technology focus and niche skills, the Indian IT/ ITES industry, with its global foot print, has immense potential to serve the Cyber Security needs of the globe.
With this in mind, NASSCOM and Data Security Council of India (DSCI) set up a Cyber Security Task Force with an objective to develop ane ecosystem for the Indian IT/ ITES companies to address opportunities in the global arena, and reinforce securing of the Indian governments’ and enterprises’ digital infrastructure. The task force also aims to grow the Indian Cyber Security Products and Services Industry to USD 35 billion by 2025.
