Basic Functions/ Job Responsibility:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced program manager to join our dynamic team at Nasscom Industry Partnership Program (NIPP). The ideal candidate will possess a strong tech background, exceptional communication skills, client management and a proven track record of success in identifying, evaluating, and engaging promising startups. You will play a pivotal role in nurturing a vibrant startup ecosystem and running Open Innovation initiative with corporates. The role includes:

  • Spearhead the process of startup curation, actively identifying and evaluating potential startups that align with the strategic priorities of corporate partners and the NIPP program's overall goals.
  • Conduct in-depth assessments of startups, analysing their tech solutions, market potential, and team capabilities, to determine their suitability for engagement within the NIPP ecosystem.
  • Proactively engage with curated startups, providing guidance, mentorship, and access to resources to support their growth and success within the NIPP program.
  • Facilitate meaningful connections between selected startups and corporate partners, organizing networking events, workshops, and one-on-one meetings to foster collaboration and drive innovation.
  • Track the progress of engaged startups and corporates, monitoring their performance, challenges, and milestones, to provide continuous support and ensure their successful integration within the NIPP ecosystem.
  • Gather and analyse feedback from startups and corporate partners to identify areas for improvement and optimize the NIPP program's startup engagement strategies.
  • Manage the relationship with corporate partners; plan, execute and monitor progress based on deliverables.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and startup developments to maintain a deep understanding of the evolving startup landscape.
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in Client management, startup engagement, community building or a relevant role.
  • In-depth knowledge of the startup ecosystem, including the process of startup curation, evaluation, and engagement.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information to both startups and corporate partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage smooth relationship with corporate partners.
  • A passion for innovation and a commitment to fostering the growth and success of startups.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and embrace new technologies and industry trends.
