Diversity & Inclusion is back with boom in 2019.

In 2018, under the aegis of NASSCOM D&I embarked on to the journey of Redefining D&I, we had our first series held in Hyderabad. With this context, the series II is scheduled in Mumbai for half day to take forward discussions.

Diversity of various hues are a given. Various studies have shown that diversity fosters innovation. But would it really help in innovation if the mix doesn’t work? Making the mix work is key to being a game changer and that is defined by the culture of an organization. Great cultures are intentional – it would be the point of focus in the values, vision, mission and importantly strategy of the organization that drives actions and behaviours across levels.

The summit at Mumbai will focus on how to celebrate diversity, understand the nuances of inclusive leadership, questioning status quo of current thinking, identifying solutions and best practices etc. The following are some of the aspects that would be looked at:

• Understand emerging trends from D&I standpoint
• Who builds the inclusive culture – who is an inclusive leader?
• What entails affirmative action for the LGBTIQ+ community?
